Bunchberry. Adjusted contrast, saturation. Used Nik software to increase the detail. Cloned out a random leaf.

Todd, This is lovely  - I like how the 3 blooms go in a semi-circle and the depth of field - good call on F/22. I might think of darkening slightly the light colored wood visible in the top right corner but its a very minor thing, really.

Lovely photo :toast:

I love these little guys. Dogwood is one of my favorite flowers and this mini version is really interesting. Great composition and technicals in this image. There are a lot of natural flaws in the bottom and middle blooms themselves which alter the overall quality of the image IMO.

Thanks for all the comments everybody. Thanks Dan I was wondering what peoples opinions are about those natural flaws. Should I fix natural flaws or not?

Love the comp and the darkness in this Todd. I'm good with the light value in the URC but would probably clone out the bit of wood showing on the viewer's left side of the image. Good looking image for my tastes.

Todd: Wonderful little scene and a fine comp. I like the lighting and for me the wood in the upper part of the frame is a plus element. I'm OK with the flaws as they are. I don't find any of them particularly eye grabbing and in fact the missing petal on the lower bloom adds a bit of interest. Well seen and captured. >=))>

Very nice scene. The flaws are not an issue for me but I agree that bringing down the brightness of the wood might improve the image.

I like your comp on this with the line of 3 flowers. Good choice of aperture and nice processing. As to getting rid of the flaws, I guess it's up to you and what you wish to say with the picture. If it were mine, however, I probably would have cloned out the spots on the flowers and the left wood piece and possibly the grayish wood piece on the right center side. But I also think it looks great as is, Todd.

Beautiful comp Todd. The detail in the green leaves is stunning and the wood bg perfectly complements the Bunchberry.
