Blue Chevrons

A little bit of a departure from other images in my Headwaters series. I was experimenting with settings, trying to bring a little more dof from surface to streambed. This one was a dismal failure in that respect but I love the texture the currents drew. The deep blue is a result of shooting without a polarizer. Thanks for looking. Comments appreciated.

Nancy,

Very ethereal and dreamlike. Very well done abstract, I would have guessed water but it could be anything. Really neat.

Fantastic abstract Nancy! I like the rich blues and deep blacks. Very psychedelic.

You have such a great eye for water abstracts, Nancy Lea, and this is certainly no exception. The electric blue works very well here to elevate the image into a fascinating abstract composition of lines and patterns. Beautiful work.

I really like this one, Nancy Lea. It's very graphic and simple. The blue works very, very well.

When I look at this, I can see a swan floating serenely on the water.

Beautiful work!

This is a terrific abstract. I'd have never guessed that you could get that electric a blue color without significant manipulation in processing. You really are creating an excellent body of abstract stream shots.

Wow Nancy this is very unique and outstanding. I would never had guessed it was a natural photo. It almost looks graphic. :toast:

Nancy - the shapes, texture, and strong colors make this quite interesting. I think this is a favorite of mine from your reflection series. Nice work!
