Olympus E5, 150mm, 1.4xtc, f5, 1/800, ISO100 handheld out vehicle window

I have 5 delivery sequences now after going out again this morning and getting 2 more. This one mother owl is a fantastic provider. She was the only one hunting and providing for all the juvies. This shot is just after she transferred the vole to the juvie and then she flew off. Interesting thing is that immediately after that, another juvie tried to take this one away, but was unsuccessful...I have that sequence, too. The photo is not tilted as the land behind the shot is a slight hill. Posted this one because of the contented look on mom, and the contrast between the adult and juvie, but I do have the actual transfer on a couple of sequences.....Hope you enjoy. Thanks for all the kind words on this series. I won't bore you with many more, but I am saving the truly unique photo(s) for last.

Another beautiful one of these guys. Really nice poses from the 2 birds, and it's nice to see the prey item. :toast:

Another simply fantastic image. Great eye contact from the mother and the vole. Detail and techs are excellent. I think I need to come to MT and follow you around.

Another great image form this series, David. I love the wing positions and the peek-a-boo look at the prey.

Sweet photo Dave both in interest and comp. The vole and parent are especially well displayed in the large version!

I can see why you like this one, wonderful eye contact from the parent. I like the wing spread on both birds and seeing the vole but that slanted background still kind of throws me off just a bit. Very nice detail and sharpness on both birds in the larger version, way to go.

Another amazing image Dave. I am so envious, would love to see this action but to also photographing it so beautifully is what dreams are made of.
