Awesome light show from a couple nights ago. Wish I had a better composition.

Woooohooo that is some crazy light. I love the strong line of the lit clouds pointing towards the butte. The cactus is a great front focal point, too. Awesome.

The perspective distortion does bother me quite a bit though. But that's an easy fix.

Everything Mat said. The distortion was the first thing that caught my eye. Straighten the saguaro and a bit more brightness would really do most of the work for you.

Great light! I would concur with the perspective fix suggestions.

Awesome light Chikku! Great placement of the rocks in the background. Composition works fine for me. Sometimes different is good.

Wonderful light and I like the comp, and will like it even more after you fix the distortion and brighten the foreground a little. A few dust spots in the sky to clean up, but a dramatic and compelling landscape image. Well done!

Awesome light show indeed. This is a very well captured image...the processing and the colors look pretty well balance. While I am not a big fan of the foreground distortion the image came out pretty nicely.

Thank you everyone for the feedback. Here is the version with the distortion fixed and the foreground a bit brighter.

The re-post looks much better. The shadow area can still open-up very slightly, IMHO, although I know it's a personal taste.

I agree with the others on the saguaro an a little less dark. Love this place and you caught some great atmosphere.

What a sky Chikku! The repost is great, and I'd crop a touch off the bottom.

Gorgeous light and great composition, repost works well with distortion fixed. I do wonder if there was something that prohibited you from including the base of the cactus in the foreground?
