Snipe out of my car on a very wet day i have not tried to brighten the image i like the feel of the dull day and the rain and i have left the clone brush alone  i have got some of these Snipe in better conditions which i will post at a later date.

I love shots taken in the rain, and this is just super Keith - the open beak and water splashes make it for me :toast: :toast:

It is a splendid shot Keith, beautifully composed. Great to get so much detail in such awful weather, can see the rain coming down on this excellent shot. :toast: :toast:

The rain adds another dimension.

Shame the wire is a bit obtrusive, but you have to take your opportunites as they arise.

The larger image looks better Keith - perhaps 'cos I can see the rain better.

Perhaps a little off the top?

Plenty of sharp detail where it matters :wavey:

Very envious of this one, Keith. This is one of my dream shots and one I would have loved to have taken, I've been searching the moors over the last couple of days looking for one of these.

As for the shot, the wire doesn't bother me, though I might be tempted to take a bit off the top of the image. A top shot if you ask me :toast:

Hello Kieth.

Cracking capture and think your choice of the extra space at the top for the rain as work well for me.
