Tofino Sunset

I spent a week in Tofino on a family vacation, which in my mind ment "photo op". I've never had a chance to photograph the ocean before and I fell in love with it. The salt air, crashing waves, and spetacular light all have me dying to get back to the coast.
This is from my third night when the light cooperated the most.
Xsi,10-22@13mm,1/20,1/60,1/180@f8(DOF and exposure),ISO 100.

Thanks for looking, comments and critiques please.
Dean

I like the tobacco sky and the composition of the foreground rocks, Dean. The frozen water motion in the foreground is a matter of taste - I'm a fan of motion in water so I would like a little bit more dynamic there - just me.

Great sunset colours in the sky, and nice perspective with the rocks in the FG. I'd personally like to see the rocks a bit lighter and with more detail.
Nice!

Very nice water image Dean. The lack of movement is different than the usual (omitting the crashing wave shots) but it does seem to match the strong, angular texture of the surrounding rocks. I might darken/contrast boost the sky just a tad to match the foreground a bit more.

Dean, first of all I like the natural way you present this seascape. Shutter speed works very well for me and shows delightful details of the ocean surface.

To my eye, the foreground rocks at the bottom could be separated more clearly from the water, although I must admit I am not sure how I would manage this. Maybe brightening the rocks a bit might be a solution. Anyway, I appreciate your image as it is.

Nicely done. The mood you've captured works for me. I'm biased toward motion in water, but the textures you've captured by freezing the motion work well with the texturing in the rocks.
