Poppies in a field in Flanders - shooting through the corn with the tele I got the desired soft and romantic effect.

Profoundly sensuous image Ingrid. I do agree with Balan's comment regarding the composition though it's definitely not a deal breaker. Very beautiful as presented.
BTW the images on your website are some of the most impressive I've seen recently.

Ingrid: I would crop this from the bottom to 4:5 or 6:7 ratio and then print it as big as I could. Really well seen and superbly captured. >=))>

I second the crop suggestion Bill made, and also the print it BIG. Wonderful work and results.

Very nice but too soft for my taste. But I like the details & colors in this image. Nicely done Ingrid.

A fresh and charming image, Ingrid ! Beautifully subdued tones, like those of a delicate watercolour on parchment. I would like to see it cropped in some way - but this is very nice.

I really love this minimalist image, Ingrid. Splendid. I hope that you will never surrender cutting a piece of the composition.
Take care

Thanks everybody for your comments. And Gigi, no, you can be assured that I will not crop it. I made the image especially this way...I wanted a lot of soft factor, so 'empty' space if you wish, in this photograph, tried out different angels and eventually shot it this way and am quite happy with it. I looked at the crop suggestions made here, but it's just not the photo as I intended it to be anymore. I appreciate that tastes differ but as it is, it is mine
Thanks again!
Ingrid.
