Kudu Line

This herd of kudu antelope was walking along an elevated plateau one morning in the Addo Elephant National Park, South Africa.

The direction of the light made it difficult to expose for normal photographs, and I decided to underexpose with this B&W image in mind. I hope you like it.

Techs:
Canon 7D with 100-400mm L IS USM @ 400mm
f8.0 @ 1/2000 SS @ ISO-400

How rare with a siloutte of these antelopes. Getting them without bush everywhere was quite an achievement.
I like that you have gotten just enough light around the faces of the overlapping animals to have them separated.
Their wakeful appearence with the erect ears, tells a small story in itself.

The graphic appearance of this suits my taste well Morkel. A tiny bit of separation between the 4 individuals in the middle would have perfected this, but I understand very well that was beyond your control.

I am agreeing fully with Vincent's observations. I like that you sought out a creative solution to a difficult exposure situation.
