Another image from our April trip to the Golden Gate Highlands National Park, South Africa. This is sunrise over the Maluti Mountains after 3 days of rainy weather...

All critique much appreciated! We're all still learning, eh?

Techs:
Canon 7D with 10-22mm USM @ 10mm
f16 @ ISO-100
Blend of 3 exposures

This is beautiful. Although the presentation may be dark for some there is plenty detail especially in the large version. I like the composition and the lighting is beautiful.

Superb Vista which really comes to life in the larger version! I especially like the layers to the landscape and the subtle colours in the sky. :toast:

This works very well for me. The foreground rock features are very prominent but not necessarily in a bad way. Looks like quite a vantage point.

Incredible view and the landscape appears to go on forever. Nicely done.

Morkel, your composition leads me wondefully from the near to the distance. The foreground rocks show me excellent and tangible details, that make me feel like standing in the middle of the scene. I also appreciate the natural colors and the vanishing layers in the background. Great work in my opinion.
