Ocean Point, Boothbay, Maine a little after sunrise at high tide.... turmoil in the sea. Another favorite coastal place of mine.

Canon 5DM2
Canon 16-35mm at 16mm
ISO 100 0.5sec f/11

M&N because of the visible fence in upper left. Don't want to get arrested by the Landscape police! :-)

Please view larger to enjoy the detail in the rocks.

Thanks for looking and for your comments and critiques. BTW - I replaced this before anyone commented since I noticed some artifacts in my original post.

Eva I appreciate how you achieved a texture in the water that nicely matches the rocks! Nice.

This is wonderful, There is a nice feeling with this and really it just puts me there... I can smell and feel the air! The texture in the rock and water is fantastic. Nice work, Eva.

Eva, your work with that wide angle lens is great. I really enjoy the long line of rocks leading to the horizon and the agitated sea. There are lots of interesting textures in the rocks, but they seem a bit "jangly" to me (to use a definitive description ).

Really beautiful work Eva. The moody sea light and granite shoreline make for a lovely image.
