This is the shot from years ago, from my climbing trip in Africa, on the end of expedition we spent couple of days in Mozambique Bay, is just handheld because on the end of trip I donated my tripod to local community, enjoy the view at hot night crushing waves...
Mark III, ISO 160, 40 mm, -33 EV, F/11, 1/40 sec, handheld

Nice, Verdon! I particularly like the reflections on the sand--for that reason I'd crop about half of the sky, make this a true pano.

In a graphically simple image like this, the funky colors in the sky and near black along the horizon really stand out. Maybe those are issues that can be easily solved, but it looks to me as though exposure latitude is being stretched past its limits.

The reflections amongst the ripples in the sand are wonderful details here. I like the range of hues, particularly the blues and wouldn't want to lose the light blue by cropping too much off the top of the image. I find the clouds and the dark corner on the left side a bit distracting and would consider squaring the image a bit to crop out the left side. The focus of the image, the sun and the reflection are beautiful - well done.
