Beautiful color Charlie and an absolutely perfect bg for it for my tastes. Sweet light, ideal placement in the frame and very fine detail. As fine an image of chicory as I've seen. Superb.

Tastefully done, Charlie. Reminds me of Stephen Kahn's series a year or so back  . I like the hint of yellow splattered at the center.

As a side note, the whole flower looks "stretched" - perhaps due to the angle chosen.

Ram, the yellow is a nice note in this for me too. I shot this at many angles and this does look stretched. It was the image with the best outcome of the pollen and yellow in the center.

Great composition, and color. I love the detail on the pollen, and the way the center "glows".

Beautiful color and detail here, Charlie. I like your composition with the flower filling the frame and the nicely blurred background.
