Saturated the greens a bit (o.k. a lot) to contrast the water droplets on the Lupins. Came across the Lupin while looking for animals to photograph and in the rain didn't want to change lens, thus the telephoto for a close up shot.

Comments and suggestions always appreciated.

I like the graphic feel this has, especially in the larger version. The reflections off the droplets are very nice. I had to see the large version to fully appreciate this one. Well done. :toast:

Allen,

Really like the way the droplets are lined up on the leaf edges, the green is intense, it does give a graphic quality to the image, but I'd also be interested in seeing a version with the greens desaturated a bit. I think the image would be even better that way, the droplets really shine in the large version.

Great collection of water drops on the Lupines, especially that large drop in the center. The drops seem pretty crunchy, which may be a result of your saturation choice or might be over sharpening (they probably work jointly, here).

Love the way the drops cling to the edges of the leaves. The one large drop adds a nice contrast. It does seem somewhat oversharpened/saturated but overall a great find.

Excellent posting, Allen, for the weekly challenge. This is so much more than just
green. Great reflection in the water droplet. I like the brilliant green and various
tonalities of green.

Lupines are amazing the way they collect waterdrops. I like your exceptional image of this phenomenon.

I might consider a crop to get that large drop out of the center. Other than that, I love this shot. The details are absolutely beautiful!
