This is my first attempt at some extreme close up of some flowers. Thanks for looking.

Definitely jumps out of the display. You've got great texture in the petals. I know it's a challenge , but I'd to see those rows of petals without the oof petals at the bottom of the frame.

Yeah, that would make for a much cleaner image. Thanks for your comment.

Very colorful close-up. I like the little curly petal in front and just the suggestion of other petals but do wish they could be in focus. I think they do give some variety to all the other petals and thus add interest. BTW, I went on to your website and your pictures are just outstanding, Jeff!

Nice close-up Jeff imitating the Flames. The OOF small petal portions could have been avoided if possible. Your Landscape photos are out of this World

Welcome to the gallery Jeff. I like the composition in this, particularly all the verticals and the bilateral symmetry in the comp and the petals. I also like the rich color and texture you captured. Mostly though I like the mood created by the light. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your images.

I love this composition, too, and the colors and lighting are beautiful.

Glad to see you over here! Fantastic color! I would prefer a crop to pano to eliminate the oof at the bottom and the greens at the top. But, that would just be me. Excellent work, Jeff!

The resemblance to a flame makes for a startling image, Jeff: I find my interpretation of the image switching from flame to flower and back again. The OOF foreground petals don't bother me: they're small and provide some feeling of depth. Very fine color and texture.
