Here is another grass from Cedar Canyon. I wasn't able to identify this one from the book I have. I burn a few lighter spots in the back ground. All comments are welcome and appreciated.

Richard: Marvelous lighting and comp. I especially like the larger version. I can see one small light area in the BG along the right edge in the LRC. Also, on the small version the black framing BG keeps me from seeing where the edge of the image is. No problem with the larger version and the gray BG. Good find, good photography. >=))>

Another great shot of a prairie grass. I especially like the flowing, twisting lines of the stems and the bristles.

Excellent detail and I like your choice of dof. The light and color make this a warm and appealling image.

Very effective composition for the form of this subject. Glad you included the large version -- the black background on the posted version with no outline makes it look like the grass is broken off. The shallow DOF keeps this from looking flat, and the lighting is really nice for the textures.

Not much to add here Richard. Excellent concept and very well presented in the larger version. It's a beautiful image.

I really like the larger version. I, too, was a little perplexed re comp in the smaller version. Beautiful in its simplicity! I like the flow of the grasses and the contrast of the color against the black BG.
