Hi guys--my first post here since reluctantly giving up my mod spot! :jump:
Hopefully not the last--looks like Varina is doing an outstanding job! :toast:
Just glanced at this weeks theme, and since i was just at Shrine Pass and had to briefly don rain gear as this brief monsoonal shower moved through, i figure this shot qualifies!

Really like the carpet of color leading into the storm and particularly the way the rain shadow defines the intersection of the background ridgelines. I'm still struggling to learn my 24mm TS-E and can appreciate your work with it here.

Stan,

Nice illuminated rain plume, love the sharp focus from front to back, and storm shadow and light really does bring out the colors.

The flowery foreground and dramatic sky make for a beautiful shot. Fine work just as it is although I do wish there was more room on the left side.

The rain adds interest to a very good image. I like the way the color of the flowers spread into the distance.

Terrific flowers, amazing depth, well hidden mushrooms, and a cool shower to top things off. Lovely image!

Oh, this is beautiful, Stan! Great detail front to back and wonderful colors. Love the comp and the triangular balance (to me) of the mushrooms, the large pine tree, and the rain shower.

Just beautiful, Stan! I love the sharpness from front to back and the way the different layers are so distinct yet interact with one another. Of course, that rain shower just tops it off!
