Chestnut-sided Warbler

I was thrilled to find what I believe is a female CSWA that was spotted in a young birch tree. I watched her for over an hour as she was foraging about and finally got a few clear shots. This was captured last Tuesday in the Mt. Mansfield Range in Vermont.

nice pose and comp, Chuck. we don't see enough warblers around here but they are definitely not easy, so good job sticking with it until you got a shot. Is this much of a crop--there's not quite as much detail as I'd like, maybe due to cropping?

The pose from this warbler is to die for! I think maybe if you desaturated the greens a little it would help this. They just seem to overpower the bird.

Nice detail and pose, and bright eye.
I agree that dampening the greens a little will emphasis this lovely little lady.

I don't know if you cropped the image but if not a tighter crop might work nicely here. Other wise a wonderful warbler shot! :toast:
