Rheinfall

I took a trip to the Rheinfall in Schaffhausen/Switzerland in June. We visited the Rheinfall a week before the trip to explore the area.So I got up at 2:45 in the morning to make sure I'll be there early enough to shoot at daybreak. Unfortunately the weather condition wasn't what I was hoping for. I had a quiet boring sky.
This one shows an overview of the Rheinfall.

Well, It still looks like a facinating place Bill. As Jonathan mentioned, this has a wonderful mood. It really makes me want to be there. I guess we don't always need a beautiful sky, and this shows us why. Wish I could visit this place!

Some heavier clouds would have helped with the moody ambience but a lovely shot as it stands.

Actually I don't find the sky a problem at all. For me the flow of water around the rocks makes this image work. Nicely done, would like to see this as a very large image! You could crop a bit of the sky out without hurting the over all image. Thanks for sharing.

Nice scene and well composed. Some clouds would enhance things, but still well done. I might consider burning the lower left corner a little, kind of vignette. The bright plants pull my eye there just a bit.

The turquoise water and it flow makes the scene for me Bill. I like you chosen comp as well.

Personally, I think the sky fits this scene perfectly--it's just the right mood. The lights on the lhs are a minor distraction, otherwise i think this is a terrific shot! :wavey:

I really like the capture of the water here with the slow shutter, Bill. Composition is excellent. As Stan noted, maybe you can turn off those lights.
