Nice concept Sandy but I might have used something to hold the leaf in the ULC out of the frame, but that's subjective I suppose.
I think at f/9 your right in between capturing everything sharp and/or having the artistic blur or bokeh that we often strive for. I usually go for one or the other in these types of shots.

I like your artistic eye and the colors a very nice. I think I might have centered in a little more on the four leaves that are the focus of the image.

Lush greens, Nancy. Crop could work various ways on this one. Nice.

Potato leaves make good subject matter. So lush, and healthy. I like the outer rims where a light line travels around the leaves. Don't know if you used a tripod, but doesn't look like it, unless it was windy. A little more detail would be good.

Nancy, Nice deviation from all the colors you have been posting. Not a shot that grabs me by the collar but interesting nevertheless. I like the details on the leaves

Well seen and presented Nancy. I like the textures and the shadows in it. No suggestions.

Nancy:
Taking leaves only is challenging cause all you have is texture and shape to keep the viewer interested... in this situation a good DOF would bring out more details. You would probably need a tripod for the smaller aperture as HH is probably not going to be an option without artificial lighting.

Nancy: Certainly a subject we seldom if ever see here and I think you did well. I like the play of the shadows especially. Nicely done.>=))>
