Stretching Swallow

I had hoped to get shots of this swallow taking off, but all it did was stretch its wings, still it was nice of it to pose for awhile. Of course when it did take flight, I missed!

John you managed to take a very nice moment, and a nice pose of your beautiful subject.

A very nice pose on your swallow and I like the view of the underwing. I would like a little more room in front of the bird if you have it. Tough to tell at this size, but there does appear to be noise in the bg. Good luck getting that flight shot! Sharon

Good focus. The whites and the darker color of the head are handled very well. I like the comp also.

Great timing. I feel the bird could be higher in the frame with more room on the left.

nice work, John, with a very difficult bird to expose. I love the pose. I agree that less on top and more in front might be better.

Love the pose John. Sharpness looks good at this size. Agree about more room on the left, less up top and background noise.
