This is truly unique. Not really sure how I feel about it. My first impression was too many elements to come together gracefully but it's perhaps that diversity that makes it so interesting. I'll think on it awhile. Beautiful colors.

This seems to me like two pictures, on the right the diagonal trunk leading to the tres and refelection in the bg., and on the left the river bank leading to the four trees and into the sky.Maybe a vertical crop at the end of the tree that reaches out to the right, leaving out the log. IMHO.

Verdon,

I think this is pretty fascinating and quite engaging. It's engaging to me because I sit and stare, and wonder something like, when is that tree going to fall over and how long has it been that way. I wonder too how much is due to keystoning... but perhaps not too much since the trees on the right aren't leaning too much. Then I think of the long-since fallen tree on the right (which works well to lead the viewer in to the scene.)

I like the colors. My only criticism really would be the darkness and lack of detail in the bank on the left. I realize the light and shadow, but for me it's just a little heavy in the LL. Not sure what you can do unless there's some detail there in the original you can bring out. Overall, I like it.
