Really cool shot Ken - the rhino is too centered for me, but everything else about this image is just great!

Nice work. I agree a smidge more out of center will be even better.

Nicely done Ken! Love the detail and DOF on this one, not to mention that amazing horn. That's one good looking Rhino.

Simple, but nice Ken. Good light, good pose. A bit too centred indeed and I wish it had a glint in the eye, but I know that is very difficult to achieve with Rhino in general.

great shot with everything what needs to have, I would place the Rhino more to the right side to avoid center composition, otherwise SUPER! :wavey:

Thanks for your comments, the problem I had with figuring out the crop was mainly caused by the placing of the horn, looking at it again, I definitely feel more space on LHS would be better. Just checked the RAW and I have nothing more on LHS, I suppose I could add some canvas?

Vincent,

I am pretty sure I have no images of a Rhino with a glint in the eye, but I will take a look.

A rhino with a glint in its eye....now that would be something quite rare indeed.

I, too, would go for the less centred look, Ken. Otherwise, a very good image with great skin texture, and like the head turn, too.
