In Your Dreams

I've been trying to get out of a rut in the type of images that typically appeal to me. This was a great moment but when I tried processing it for the look I typically want - blah. So this is heavily decontrasted (is that a word?). Like this look, nice and soft - kinda dreamy. Hope you like it, comments, suggestions, blessings and cursings are always taken in the best spirit.

I think the contrast looks fine, given the misty atmosphere. I think it could be a little darker, and slightly cooler white balance? It does have a nice dreamy feel that would be even more emotional if it were a little less bright, I think.

I like the composition and the overall soft feel of this image. I tend to agree with Chris' suggestion on the color balance, but I realize that color is very subjective. .

I like the mood you captured here Russ. I can't think of too much to offer other than desaturting the moss a bit and maybe adding more contrast to the base of the trees. Overall, it works for me!

A bit darker and sharper might work better. I really like the mystery here.
