Lazuli Bunting
by Brian Gatlin
I spent a couple hours today sitting at a spot where I had a lot of success last year--there is a very small USFS-constructed waterhole that draws lots of birds, so I set up some perches and sat under my qwik kamo. This female/immature Lazuli Bunting selected a natural perch a bit further back, necessitating more cropping, but I thought it worked out well, especially in the shady low light.
I appreciate your critiques and comments. Please view the larger version if possible.
