I took this shot a couple of years ago along Loyalhanna creek in SW PA. The cardinal flowers were really in their glory on this steamy hot morning.

comments welcome

Sony R1, 14mm, f/14 @160, 3-shot combo

thanks for looking and please especially check out the larger version as I had to use a lot of compression on this one.

Beautiful red flowers and I really like the atmospheric conditions. Streaks of light coming in on the left add to the image very nicely. Great work Robert.

This is wonderful Robert. The large version is especially nice! I really like the light and color. A very pleasing scene to look at. Nice work.

A great image, with the trenchant rays and steam putting this over the top.

Love this flower and this is a lovely scene with the streaks of sunlight moving down from the sky. Well handled dynamic range too

Robert, as good a shot that incorporates cardinal flower as any I have seen. Like the lightbeams in the background.

I like this, Robert--some tricky light but you handled it quite nicely!

Lovely light and color. And the light beams add a lot for the mood.

Ahh Pennslyvania. I just love it! The light is lovely and the flowers add a colorful and unique touch. I think I would have preferred a higher composition if possible, but this quite enjoyable.
