I like how this puffin was able to find a resting spot on the upslope of this rock.

The exposure looks perfect, Carol. I like the soft light and the textures it brings out in the plumage. If this were mine, I might take a bit off the bottom, but a sweet image as posted.

Very unique composition and setting Carol, I like it very much. Wonderful clarity and colors throughout, the blue sky is outstanding with the puffin's coloration. :toast:

These birds are so neat, probably never get to see one but this is one of those photos that makes them desirable to add--very nice Carol!!

For 10:13 the light really looks good in this image. Perfect exp, giving great detail throughout the puffin and a pleasing comp. I would love to get a chance with these birds someday. Great job Carol... :toast:

Nice to see a full picture of a puffin for a change instead of the close ups (although I like those too). I like the overall composition and colors and the large version has some excellent detail. Well done.

The soft light works great in this photo Carol, excellent exposure work with nice detail in the whites and blacks. I also like the the rock angling through the frame. Sweet Photo :cool:
