I have always loved the curvature and grace of water lily, flower and leaf stems. I have fooled with this over a long period of time and do not remember all that I have done to it.

They seem to be suspended in mid-air. Whatever effects you used is has given the image a 3D effect that works well. A little less room on the bottom and a little more on top would be another comp that might be worth considering.

The comp is different, I admit. I fooled with this a lot and as you see it, is my presentation. As always I know we each have our feelings about many atributes.

The water takes on a painterly quality. I agree with Patricia's crop suggestion. Nice image.

Charlie, Nice look to this one. I think that maybe a sliver more on the right if you have it. Patricia makes a good suggestion also but I can see why you included the bottom.

I like where you're going with this. The long graceful lines of the stems make the shot.
I see why you composed this way, but it needs a bit more space @ the right & left corners to work IMHO.
