This grizzly bear was walking through the boulders along the shoreline of Amethyst Lake. He was young and quite skinny. Catching sight of our group of photographers, the bear sped along rocks and then swam across the channel to the far side of the lake.

This works for me, but I am wishing a little bit to see the bear more prominently in the frame. If this is full frame, I think you could successfully crop some from bottom to create an interesting pano presentation, or from bottom and left to put the bear at the upper right intersection of thirds, or for a different effect, cropped to a vertical! Lots of options are a matter of taste, of course...but take a look!

I really like this shot with the exception that the bear is too much in the corner. If possible I would crop to put the bear in the upper right intersection of thirds as Lon suggested.

I actually really like the setting and the framing. It might be compression or just my laptop monitor, but the sharpening seems a little uneven. Its hard to comment without looking at the exif, but would have liked a little more depth of focus.

Regardless, its a really interesting bear pic in awesome looking terrain.
