Praying Nuns

I took this last December during a beautiful day trip to Sedona, this is a prominent rock formation near the Chapel of the Holy Cross named the Praying Nuns. All comments and critiques welcome! I'm especially curious if the small bit of chromatic abb around the edges of the sandstone cliffs is a problem.

Striking colors and good detail, Jake. Well composed for my tastes.

Hey Jake,
Fabulous formations and great light upon them as well. The trees creating a natural vignette are a great feature.

Well exposed. I could wish for some more sky drama. The slight haloing on the edges can easily be taken out with a small blur brush (about 5 pixels) around the edges, set at about 15% opacity. However, I don't really find it that bothersome.

I really like the comp and intense colors. Could see darkening the upper sky a bit

Really nice colors and light and the clarity looks good, too. Well done.

Jake,

Beautiful country indeed. I can't say any issues around the edges are even that noticeable - at least at these sizes. I like the color, saturation and overall exposure pretty well, although personally I might back off the red a little bit. The composition works pretty well also with the two trees framing the lower portion of the image. And I think there's enough pretty color and action in the sky to make the bg a positive element here.

Nice colors and an interesting subject. The sky looks good to me and I can’t see any chromatic aberration.
