This Atlantic Puffin is from Rundö in Norway. The sun is shining and it is raining at the same time.

This is one of the sharpest puffin photos I have seen! The BG really lets the bird stand out. Thanks for sharing.

A really sharp shot of this puffin Lennart. The overall comp is great with the nice grass hump the bird is standing on the longer intermediate grasses and the fine colors in the BG. My only suggestion is to do a bit of NR on the BG. The high ISO shows a bit in that regard. Nice image for sure.

A very nice Atlantic Puffin, Lennart. I agree with Ron's suggestion. Where you have good definition of the bird against the background, selection with the Quick Selection tool in CS5, then Refine Selection giving it a half pixel feather or so, Invert and then apply you noise reduction tool of choice.

A very cool image with excellent sharpness and feather detail!
I like the inclusion of the blowing grass and the muted bg.
If you have canvas, I might try a little CCW rotation

Nice soft colors. Really like the greens surrounding the bird. Maybe just a little off the left side.

Thank you for your comments. You are right about the noise and I have tried to reduce it in bg. I also turned it CCW as much as possible.
