How'd you like to stumble on to this big fella?

I didn't like the color photo. Tried BW...great for shadows..Right? No, the gator disappeared. So, I found a happy medium by bringing back some color to the BW. this version reminds me of my collection of hand painted etchings.

I like your final choice, Lucy. That gator fits right in with those long dark shadows so I can see how you could actually stumble on this guy!

Nice shot, Lucy! It took me a minute to find the Gator in this shot - it's incredible that something so big can hide so easily. I've been started by them in the Everglades - it's a bit of a shock to realize you are standing so close to such a big predator! :) Sort of a stand-aside moment... "Oh no, sir... you have the right of way. I'll just go stand over there!" Blink.

I like the almost black and white treatment. Very nice!

Neat shot. It took me a bit to find the gator. It think the slight colorization works well.
