The Athabasca river meanders beautifully across the valley all along the icefield parkway north of the columbia icefield, and has several incredible locations to photograph mountains...there were even a couple of mountain goats down the slope of the ledge in this image

Great location, with striking colors (especially the river).
Like the way you captured the scene, but think that you need to straighten the frame a bit.
Not sure whether I can find the mountain goats, would love to see some images of them as well in this stunning landscape.

I love the river and the mountains. I do find the lower corners a little empty, though. Another thought would be to see if you can pull more detail out of the sky in the ULC. The color of the water is amazing.

Youssef: In looking at the larger version, the streak in the lefthand mountain is a horizontal snowfield.

And the glacial till imparts a very eye-catching color to the river. Could maybe see burning the ULC (and maybe the whole sky) to put more emphasis on the river.

This reminds me of the view out toward the Wrangell Mountains from near Glennallen. A spectacular vista!
