Giraffe suckling young at sunrise.
Please excuse me for not posting techs, as they appeared ridiculous. I was hoping to find a pride of Lions but Giraffes came across and I forgot about the camera settings.
Thank you so much for your kind attention and views!

Great image, i would have like the image to be a bit sharper. But nice catch!

It looks very sharp to me Jagdeep.(in fact the small version is way over-sharpened). Very strong silhouette, yet I do find it unfortunate that the BG does not allow a better silhouette of the youngster. I do know how difficult it is to get animals above the horizon for a good silhouette. A minor CCW rotation correction is in place, even if it is just for visual purposes to get that right side of the horizon level.

See now if you'd been hoping to find a Giraffe to silhouette against such a wonderful background, surely a pride of Lion's would have shown up instead - LOL ;^p

Seriously Jagdeep, this Giraffe makes for a excellent substitute IMO ... WOW! I missed the first part you wrote and, wondering what the heck that unfortunate distraction was beneath the Giraffe, just realised you got a youngun' suckling!!! Now THAT's a real treat to see and bumps the pleasure of looking at this image all the higher :^)

Not doubt you were shooting this from the lowest possible vantage point, so point in me touching on that. The only improvement to my eye would be to tilt the image a little downward on the left to make a more horizontal line, other than this, it's a beautiful piece of work!

That's a great silhouette of a giraffe and a very fine sunset you photographed them in.
Nice catch to have the calf drinking, but it is not very effective in this frame I think. But can't change nature I am afraid.
Looking forwards seeing more of your shots
Thx

Great image. Very dramatic colors. Could use just a little rotation.

Agree about the slight rotation, but other than that, I really like this Jagdeep. Beautiful BG and dramatic silhouette!
