Too much tangle and not enough prairie. I like the concept, but perhaps a different perspective could portray it better? I'm not a prairie guy so my view may not be universal.

Barbara has a point. It is bright and cheerful. But complex subjects are also more complex when it comes to scene management. I really wish that you had turned your camera away from the right 1/3 of the tangle. If this was your own garden, you could have held the offending plant out of view during the exposure.

Beautiful collection of sunflowers nicely set against the sky. I'll join the club and suggest cropping the right 1/3 to minimize the region dominated by the stem.

Thanks for the comments, I actually was holding back some plants with my cane on the left side, thought the right side was OK. I'll see what I can do with a similar but different shot.

Of the three image you posted - this one and the ones in the flora and landscape galleries - the one you posted in Flora is my favorite. The reason is that there's a relatively clear point of interest in that shot, which is lacking in the others. My eye roams all throughout the images, getting lost in a sea of flowers. They are beautiful - but it's more information than I need. So, here's a suggestion. Why not use a shallow depth of field to capture this scene - or a similar jumble of flowers. Focus on just one flower and let the others in the background blur out. The information you provide with that one flower - petals, details, color, etc - will give us all the information we need to understand the scene in our own minds. And you'll remove all the distracting details that make it difficult to find a point of interest. Just a suggestion, of course.

I love the rich colors in the flowers in this shot. It really is a beautiful location! I also like the fact that you've included sky in this image - the blues a lovely alongside those brilliant yellows! (Maybe you could isolate a single flower against that blue sky! The complimentary color scheme would really make the flower pop!)
