Great pose , colours, and detail in the bird! I especially like the splayed tail.
As you said, not too interesting an environment, but still a nice image.

Beautiful colours indeed Keith, and wonderful detail you caught in the plumage! Another reason why this picture makes me smile is that it looks at though you've taken a candid shot of a subject taking a bath and it's just happened to notice you there :^)

Good color and details, I like the pose you have caught the bird in. The BG is OK, it does not distract me from the bird, sort of neutral. Thanks for sharing.

How adorable. What kind of bird is it? I love the water droplets, the look on the birds face, and the tail splayed out in the water.
