Very moody and peaceful Gerald. Nice structure and glow in the wet sand. Like the water line curving up against the setting sun. Though, think that F/11 would have been sufficient for this shot.

Very nice, Gerald. I hope you also took some shots concentrating on the sand reflections.

Very pretty Gerald. Love the reflected color in the sand, and the texture provided by the little rivelets. In the Bronx, you say? I would have never guessed it.

I think this is the first (non Bronx zoo) nature shot ive seen from the Bronx--so kudos!
I like the dark mood and light on the sand--nice! My only nit is id like a bit more definition in the bg silhouette.

Gerald,
This is a nice, peaceful image. I like the sun's reflection in the water and the detail in the sand. I do find the left-hand quater of the image a little empty, and suggest that you crop it out. Doing so would put more attention to good things going on in the sand and the water.

I think it might be a bit underexposed. But, that results in a powerfully moody shot. Love the colors and the details. Just want to see a little more detail on the left side of the image.

Gerald,
Very nice quiet and actually kinda warm sunrise. A bit dark, but then that really helps draw attention to the wonderful color and reflections in the wet sand. and as David mentioned, it sure looks like there are some great abstracts just waiting to be captured in that sand.
Only a couple of nits/suggestions. Just by judging on the water level/horizon I would say this needs a bit of a cw rotation. And just a suggestion, but you might consider a slight crop from the left just to tighten up the composition a little bit. It's all about the color and reflection in the sand.
Thanks for sharing.
