WC 50 - Feather ??

I found this under some huge madrones and there are more than a few flickers seen in these trees often. Looks like a breast feather. I placed this on a log and a calm day so shot with tripod outside.

Charlie ..beautiful subjct, and nicely placed on the frame ...looks a tad bit low on the contrast and sharpness...some ps work could make this better ..well done ..

I worked on this a bit, but it looks to me a bit oversharpened.

I like your background choice here. The soft brown tones create a very appealing monochromatic color scheme. It works beautifully with that dark spot as a point of interest. Nicely done.

That's an interesting feather. I think you improved it significantly on the second try. We seem to have a "color harmony" theme going with your challenge. I feel like the odd man out with my offering.
