Last week at Chiemsee, a lake in Bavaria, Germany. When I went out at sunrise, there was dense fog slowly clearing up. The picture was taken at a small bay in the south-west of the lake, the "Irschener Winkel".

Ive got to write a song called 'Irshener Winkel' (suitably dark and disturbing)--it has a nice ring to it...
Kind of lonely, Peter--but i like it... My only suggestion is to maybe reduce the cyan a bit and go more towards blue/gray. :wavey:

Very moody. I "think" I agree with Stan on the cyan remark, but I'm on an uncalibrated monitor so I won;t be sure until i get home. I might also crop a bit off the bottom as that looks a little empty there.

Hi Peter, I like the loonely and moody feel you have here. It works well for me and looks like it could be not even a mile from my house. I could see heading out through here in a canoe in this early morning light and fog. :toast:

Peter,

I too like the misty, almost mysterious mood captured here. And I agree with Stan on the cyan. In general though, there's something missing that might otherwise keep me engaged. I keep hitting that little stump in the water. I guess I'm looking for some more prominent grasses or lily pads in the water or something. Without that this is simply just about a mood I think.

I'm with Lon. I like the light, but would like a stronger focal point, maybe in the foreground.

Really like the simplicity and the mood of your image, Peter. Nice work.

I am not so bothered by the cyan tones, as I think it lends to the moody feel already presented. What I am having a trouble with is the feeling that the photo appears titled to the right and that is unsettling to me for some reason.
