Not particularly crazy about the rocky setting near our pond, but this Baltimore Oriole sure is pretty

Beautiful, Howard! Excellent job on those gorgeous colors. Did you get any rain out of that bit that hit over the weekend?

Very beautiful bird - nice pose, very fine detail, perfects techs.
The clunky FG rock doesn't help much, but still a good image.

Very nice -- I like the way that black eye pops from the black head -- colors are great

Amazing colored bird - rocks or no rocks, the image rocks for me Maybe you could locally darken the boulders a little with the burn tool, maybe worth spending a minute on ? Anyway - well done! , Cheers, hans

Wonderful feather detail on the larger version. I like the head turn and eye contact in this, way to go Howard.

Superb light and detail in this Oriole, Howard. I agree with you, the rocky setting is not ideal. I think if the bright white rock in front of the bird was not there it would help.

You got that right Howard. That oriole is sure pretty. Exquisite light and the feather detail rocks. Like you I'm not crazy about the habitat but did I say that Oriole was pretty??? Sure is.
