Thanks Ram. I wasn't sure I should post this because Mike was an obvious inspiration for this shot but then I realized that even though he was the inspiration to this photo opportunity no photo in nature can ever be copied. I know because I have tried to copy some of my own semi-successful shots that I wanted to get a better comp of whatever and it never happens. Something is always different. So thanks to Mike I am able to "see" more things in nature that most people over look. I also feel the same about your photo's Ram. They are very inspirational.

I really like this. It does have the "mark of the Moats"...not a copy as you said but certainly a similar style. The color and texture of the leaf are a nice contrasting element to the slick, dark iridescence. Well seen and executed.
