Spider and Bee

It's the first time I witnessed a spider to capture a bee.
Taken last june in the countryside. I'd have preferred that the eyes of the bee were more visible, but it wasn't easy to get.

40D 100mm IS
f10 1/400
ISO 400
-0,33

Thanks for viewing.
C&C are very welcome.

Monica, a very interesting image. The large post really shows the subjects best. It would have been nice to see the bees eyes, but can't have everything sometimes. Nice color and details. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent presentation of what they offered you. The spiders eyes are very apparent. This is overall a very, very good photo.

You handled the strong side lighting well, great BG showing us flower, spider, and prey without distraction..
Great details and colors, and the spiders all important eyes are clear to see..
Congrats on witnessing your first spider eatin' a bee too
Well done! :toast:
