I liked the rear view and framing by the branches here.

I also like the mossy looking branches in this one Sandy. Classic egret pose you captured. Good work!

Beautiful scene and background, really nice light, nice detail, and the bird looks so soft (in a good way, I mean, the feathers look so soft).

I love the textures of the plumage that you managed to expose so well and also for mossy perch, great shot Sandy :^)
Always amazes me to see such a comparatively large bird so deftly able to support itself upright on such a thin branch!

I like a lot as posted. I can't recall seeing this species on a branch before.

Very nice image! I like that you have detail in the white feathers. I like how the two branches seem to frame the egret. Thanks for sharing.

Sandy,
Looks like you had great conditions to shoot a white bird in. Whites look fantastic. I really like the angled framing that the two branches provide. Nice head turn, not overly sharpened providing that nice soft feathered look that Barbara mentioned, and a little bit of back lighting through the top head feathers makes this just pop. Beautiful Sandy!!

Excellent image, Sandy. Nice job on the exposure. Really nice detail in the whites. Nice perch and background as well. I like the head turn giving you nice eye contact. This is really nit picking, but I do think I would be tempted to remove the specular highlight just above the heron's bill. It seems to distract from the subject a bit. Overall a great image, Sandy.

Sandy, Great techs as usual. I like the framing of the perch and the limb on the left also. The green BG also really highlight the Egret and the head turn makes it.

Wonderful works on the whites, and nice capture of the head turn. I'm surprised to see a Cattle Egret perched on a branch.

Excellent shot. Great pose and detail. Exposed perfectly. My only nit is the circular highlights other than that well done.

Good exposure and details, like your comp.
I see some repeating patterns along the branch, bottom RT corner from your post processing, my only nit.
Overall a fine image.

This is a really nice image, Sandy. All my cattle egrets are "on ground" and not nearly as nice as this raised perch one. Well done.

Love the background colors and the moss covered perch Sandy. The whites on the Egret couldn't be better. Love the head turn and sharp eye. Beautiful image!

Excellent shot Sandy, I like everything about this, the composition, perch, feather detail in the whites, color contrast between bird and background, the larger image looks great, way to go.
