Stone Sexy

One of the great things about Antelope Canyon is no matter how many thousands of shots have been taken here, one can always come away with something uniquely their own. The light, time of day, angle, exposure, white balance, focal length, and personal vision all come into play in this fascinating place. Hope you like this one...I still have more I've yet to process!

Thanks as always for stopping by for a look!

Jean, Beautiful colors and curves. Quite surreal.

This is a pretty original take on the canyon. I appreciate the fact that you showed some restraint in your processing - the muted colors are quite nice and emphasize the lines in the stone.

I like the cooler tones and the sweet flow of the striations. the brighter part of the midground on the lh seem just a little washed out. Composition and concept are excellent. Very nice

Love the mix of textures and tones. The opposing directions of the striations adds another element to the image. Very cool. :toast:

Love the cool tones and the lovely lines, Jean. Almost has an other-world look to it as the far wall could be an alien night sky with aurora complementing the foreground landscape. Excellent work.

Looks like it could use a little more sharpening but this a fantastic abstract. I absolutely love all the lines and curves. I have never seen this type of image of this before so congrats on a very nice original. Looking forward to what else you have up your sleeve.
