Japanese Painted Fern
I struggle, as most, when to crop ... what to crop. So I posted a tighter crop on the larger version. And am interested which one you prefer.

Ken:
Fabulous details and very sharp! I like the tighter larger version which excluded the dark LUC. Very fine work.

Both are nice. Nice light and detail. I prefer the tighter version as well.

Beautifully composed. The tighter crop is a bit more abstract that I think works particularly well with this subject.

I like the detail and impact of the tighter crop Ken. And the mix of green and silver hues is striking. Just superb...

This is sweet Ken. Great detail and just the right depth for this. Well done.

Oh my. I prefer the tighter crop. The vibrancy colour and texture send it right over the top. Most excellent.

Excellent comp, perfect lighting, and I like the tighter comp better as well.

Outstanding Ken. I think I like the larger version but it's close. I really like your sharpening technique. As in most of your work the details are stunning but still have a certain smoothness to them. Threshold slider?
