Ripples and Rock #502

This is one of my favorite types of shots. Unfortunately most of our local streams have sand or solid rock bottoms. I found this little patch of rock with shallow water running over it on a local stream mouth. It was only like this for a short time before it was once again covered with sand.

I like the abstract in much of nature. This capture is a fine example. As such, frame a big version and hang in a room with the right colored drapes...and couch ...this will work.

I agree with you. I also like this kind of thing. The light and distortion thing works with reflections as well. Cheerful and shiny is good. Good work.

Love the colors and the ripples. In some spots the rocks look like gemstones really lovely. Really a nice interpretation of the challenge.
