At least that's what I believe it to be. Taken the same morning as my last post, and a much more cooperative bird. It allowed me to move in on it quite closely. Earlier light and I like the turning colors in the leaves of the bush.

7D, 300mm f4 ISL + 1.4TC, hand held, f5.6, 1/1250. iso 640, Av mode with no compensation, cropped to 15.3MP (I deliberately kept it a bit loose because I liked the framing from the leaves). Taken at 7:37 am on September 14th. Normal processing in CS4.
Your insights are always very appreciated.

Thanks for looking,

Beautiful image Dennis, I like the framing of the Sparrow with the colorful vegetation.

Very nicely captured Dennis, and I love the warm colours from the morning light! I like the inclusion of the leaves for their complimentary tones, although given a choice I think I'd prefer to see the subject situated higher in the frame.

Great job Dennis..... the setting, perch and OOF BG all contribute to the earth tone colors of this fellow. Very well captured!

I especially like this morning light, great pose Dennis.
And I agree, the turning leaves frame the bird nicely, and add overall appeal with this light.
Well done :toast:

Very nice! Lighting and colors are very complementary. Maybe crop just a little off the top.

Really nice warm light on this. You caught it in just the right position amongst the foliage. Well done. Sharon
