Strange how some of our drabbish birds can look great in the right light.
At my woodland pool.Leaves coming off and the exposure is creeping up.

A real beauty! Wonderful little bird, excellent pose with the splayed and "floating" tail and head-turn, exceptional creek with the underwater pebbles clear.
The tiniest of nits with such a great shot : I'd personally tone down the bright reddish rock in the upper left, as it draws the eye a bit as the brightest area of the image.
Very excellent work!

Lovely image, the palette of colours completely complementary to the bird; the detail as arrangement of the plumage really make this image different.

Good colours, a few more leaves off the trees and you will be down to 400 ISO!

Hello John.

Lovely capture with the way the bird is looking at you but its that fanned tail that makes it for me.
