Black Bellied Plover

I've been attempting this bird for a couple of days, but the BG has for the most part been unfavorably distracting, but this morning I got a few with decent surroundings. Slight crop for comp - larger image included.

Bill, your patience paid off!
Lovely bird in a nice pose, and fine detail. BG is very complimentary.
I might run a round or two of NR on the BG, though, and dampen the hot whites under the tail.

Very nice plover and nice image. Colors look natural and the setting/background is appropriate and works well to showcase the bird.

Very nice composition with the shadow, placement of the bird and seeing some traces of blue water at the top of the image. I like the feather detail on the larger image, nice job in waiting for this shot, well done.
