I shot this Chipping Sparrow in late February of this year, when the Texas Flowering Dogwood Tree begins to bloom.
Overcast morning light around 10:00

Very nice setting. I like the background which compliments the birds coloring and the dogwood blooms. All in all a very pleasing shot.

Lovely setting Howard. Nice to be reminded of spring since around here the birds are getting scarce.

Very nice Howard, great setting and I love the eye contact. I wonder if shooting it more wide open would have made an even more pleasing bg here.

Howard, I don't think they get any sweeter than this. Beautiful flowers, detail, colors, light.

Wonderful setting with the flowers and I like the head turn as the sparrow appears to by checking out the bloom, way to go Howard.
