We found several Lions on the shores of Lake Kariba, Matusadona, Zimbabwe 21st September 2011. This sub adult was kind enough to pose in the setting sun.

I like that golden light here too Ken; a good example of how gorgeous light can even make a very simple portrait an eye-catching image. The legs are nicely spread, but I do wish the tail were visible as well.

I have a better tail position but not such good eye contact.

Really like the eye contact and the light is beautiful in this Ken. Not sure why this only has 3 comments so far? I do wish the tails was visible as well, but I don't think it ruins the shot by any means.
